As a philanthropist, she says she wants to make a difference. I don’t see that. I think she wants to take the credit for other people making a difference.
Bravery is nothing to do with being fearless. It comes from taking the necessary action despite shivering with fear.
I find discussion on the weather incredibly boring. I have no interest in it. Weather comes and weather goes and it makes very little difference to my life, almost all of which is spent indoors. I have to say, however, that I really do enjoy going out in what is traditionally called ‘bad’ weather. That’s great fun.

Virtuously, I got myself onto the treadmill. As with all things mechanical or electronic, my first challenge was to find out how to turn it on. After five minutes I eventually succeeded. This was the only triumph of the day. I pounded away and burnt off 120 calories. I then went back to breakfast and consumed 400.
I was mentioned in a BBC programme today – favourably. That’s nice. I am not averse to the occasional stroke. God knows that in my line of work there is no shortage of critics. I know that PR people say that there is no such thing as bad publicity. Maybe not – but I prefer it when the comments are kind.
He has talent, sensitivity and creativity. He will have a wonderful future if he gets off cocaine and stays off it. Otherwise he will be destroyed.
